Artist Statement
I am a Yaqui Indigenous painter practicing community-engaged art. Primarily working with oil paint, I strive to make Yaqui fem presence legible through large-scale urban transformations. I attempt to bridge the gap in equitable access to the arts for marginalized communities impacted by violence
